Foundation
Ampersand Group has established its credentials across schools, early childhood education (ECCE), teacher training, and vocational programmes, alongside large-scale skilling and livelihood initiatives delivered through Public Private Partnerships.
2004
Established the first school in Goregaon, Mumbai.
2006
VIBGYOR evolved into a professionally managed network of schools.
2017
Expanded to 24 schools across 7 cities, serving 34,000+ students.
Established the Education, Consulting and Skilling (ECS) business to deliver end-to-end school operations and management solutions across India and Africa.
2018
Launched Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) with 550+ Balwadis in Mumbai and initiated Anganwadi pilots in Nashik.
Introduced Teacher Training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
Secured School Operations & Management (O&M) projects under the PPP model, including JNPV, Maharashtra and Adarsh Schools, Punjab.
Introduced EdTech services, including digital academic content and remote healthcare clinics.
2019
Expanded to 33 schools across 10 cities, reaching 46,000+ students.
2020 - 21
Transitioned to online and hybrid learning.
Strengthened government partnerships through PPP initiatives, including expansion of Adarsh Schools in Punjab.
Executed large-scale teacher training programmes in J&K and Assam.
Collaborated with the Government of India for DDU-GKY and NSQF technology support.
Introduced Smart Anganwadi initiatives in Uttarakhand.
2022
Reached 36 schools with 50,000 students and 6,500+ ECCE learners.
Scaled vocational training to 2,85,000+ students and expanded to 680+ Balwadis in Mumbai.
Introduced self-defence programmes in Haryana schools.
Executed skill development projects for 4,500+ candidates.
Launched Smart Crèches in Karnataka.
